I’m Eduardo Hernández Cansino, and I solve business problems with technology. I’ve been building software for more than 15 years. I started as an engineer on small teams, led delivery teams, and later ran cloud technology strategy for Huawei Cloud in Latin America. What I care about is cloud and AI that hold up in production and actually change how a business runs.
Now
- AI & Cloud Strategy Lead, Public Sector Mexico, Huawei (2026–present). I report directly to the CEO of Huawei Mexico. I coordinate technical and commercial resources to help public institutions adopt cloud and AI, with a focus on technology adoption and digital sovereignty.
- Co-founder & CTO, Nireto (since August 2026). Nireto builds AI agents for short-term rental hosts and property managers, through its own app and WhatsApp. The product is in pilot and under active development. I lead engineering: a multi-tenant backend in Go and Postgres, the infrastructure it runs on, and the controls that keep operators in charge of any decision involving money or door access.

- CTO, Huawei Cloud Latin America (Sep 2022–2026). Helped launch Huawei Cloud in Latin America. Work included core-banking decoupling, mainframe modernization, public-sector platforms, and AI education programs across the region.
- Senior Solutions Architect, Huawei, Latin America (Aug 2018–Sep 2022). Cloud projects for large telecom and enterprise customers across Latin America.
- OpenStack & Kubernetes Sales Engineer, SUSE (2016–2018). Solution architecture, demos and proofs of concept for enterprise and public-sector accounts in Mexico.
- R&D Manager and DevOps Engineer, KIO Networks (2014–2016). Part of an early OpenStack cloud deployment in Mexico.
- Technical Lead, Vinco Orbis (2012–2014). Led a delivery team on a large loyalty platform and took it from two deployments a week to daily deployments.
- Software Engineer, Cachinko (2011–2012). Early-stage startup engineering.
